The minimum requirements for employment are as follows:
- Fundamental knowledge of Board Governance, including roles and responsibilities and/or a willingness to undergo
12- 15 hours of training throughout the first year. - Ability to contribute expertise to the board (e.g., human resources, marketing, etc.)
- Commitment to supporting Clare Parker’s Philosophy of Care.
- Strategic thinking and long-term planning skills.
- Capability to comprehend cash flow and financial statements at a high level.
- Comfort with collaborative decision-making and problem-solving in a team environment.
- Willingness to commit to attending 9-10 meetings per year, with additional ad hoc requests, as necessary.
- Orientation, mentorship, and peer support provided by established board members and the Executive Director .
